Bear from new Will Ferrell movie scarfs down and kills trainer in freak attack

The bear from the new will Ferrel movie went ballistic and attacked a zookeeper the other day, killing him. The bear reportedly bit the trainer in the neck for no apparent reason.
Will Ferrell or his stunt double are lucky that this crazy ass bear didnt eat him during a scene where Ferrell is "attacked" by the bear however in a comical manner.
After hearing this and also seeing the movie with that nutjob "the Grizzly man" I have decided that Stephen Colbert may be right....grizzly bears are the #1 threat to America.

Stoned alligator seeks munchies in Florida

A Florida women who heard a commotion late the other night stumbled upon an 8ft alligator's munchie induced raid of her kitchen. The high alligator apparently chased her cat around the apartment for several hours in pursuit of catching a tasty snack. Some containers containing cookies and or cheetos were also reportedly disturbed. Florida game and wildlife later captured the massive alligator successfully. Reports say that because of the alligators large size, and it's propensity for violence/drug use it will be sent to a processing farm which will turn it into alligator jerky. (actually pretty tasty!)

Robbes ST Pierre and Rich Franklin get Big Wins At the latest UFC

Wow...Rich Franklin completely destroyed Travis Lutter by repeatedly kneeing him in the ribs, until Lutter could barely stand and looked like he was about to pass out.. Rick Franklin took his time cracking lutter in the face time after time until he finaaly collapsed and a TKO was called.
The question is where will Franklin go from here? He has already lost to know middleweight champ Anderson Silva twice and a Rematch is unlikely.Regardless Franklin kicked some ass

Robbes St. Pierre also layed the smack down on Matt Serra to regain the Welterweight Title. Robbes has been the Interim champion since he beat submitted Matt Hughes in the second round. Matt Serra was obvisously outclassed by the newly improved Robbes St. Pierre who worked circles around serra not only on standup but on the ground as well. This brings the Robbes St Pierre/ matt Serra count to 1-1 and a rematch looks likely.

Rampage jackson is going to beat the shit out of Forrest Griffin

Forest Griffin is set to fight Rampage Jackson for the light heavyweight championship on 7/05/08 which Rampage won when he defeated Chuck Lidell. Lets face it, Forrest Griffin while a well rounded fighter is not yet on the level of Rampage Jackson. Im pretty sure that hes going to get his ass beat, I mean he wasn't even able to defeat Tito Ortiz. This shows that the Light heavyweight division is in serious need of new talent as their is not any real competition for Jackson at this point. With Chuck Liddell defeated who will step up to pose a real challenge?
I certainly do not think that the Dean of Mean, Keith Jardine can do it after his loss to Houstan Alexander.(Houstan was knocked out in 2 seconds in his last match, the quickes ufc knockout ever.) Keith Jardin does however have some serious talent and may have been caught off gaurd in that match.

There are reports that people have now stooped to the ultimate low....sniffing their own poop to get high. Apparently allowing the feces to ferment for a certain amount of time in a bag creates a chemical that can be "huffed" and cause euphoria and or hallucinations. When I first heard this I thought, yea right who the hell would actually do this? My friend from Colorado however informed me that out by there it is not extremely rare to see kids "gettin high" on gross ass old feces. I am not sure if anyone has seen one of the newer South Park episodes but this reminds me of "cheesin" however it is perhaps even more gross.

Look i realize you guys wanna save cash...... but cmon...once you are at the point where you are literally inhaling shit to get high...its pretty fuckin desperate

Barack Obama is accused of being an elitist by Clinton and Mcain after his comments made in San Francisco

Barack Obama has been heavily bombarded with criticism after comments he made at a private fundraiser in San Francisco. Obama refferred to Small town Pennsylvanian's as bitter and likely to cling towards guns or religion. Surprisingly this has had little effect on the current polls as Obama's 5% defecit in Pennsylvania remains virtually unchanged by the controversy.

Devils beat rangers in overtime!!!

How did they do that shit? even i thought that the Rangers were going to sweep the devils but the Big D came back with an overtime goal to get the win 4-3 over the rangers.
Do the devils have a chance? The odds are against them...about 80% of teams who lose the first playoff game do not come back to win. Look at least we get to drink more booze and watch more hockey..nuff said

Condoleeza Rice may be Johns Mccains running mate.

Condoleeza Rice has said that she will not run for vice president as John Mccains running mate however I am not so sure that she wouldn't change her mind. This ticket would obviously at least somewhat offset Obama's share of the black vote and would even help to combat a possible Clinton/Obama "dream ticket. "

Bill to "decriminalize" sticky kindbud kush is put into the senate

A bill was recently put forth by (D) Barney Frank to decriminilize te personal use of marijuana.
He stated on the Bill Maher show that it is rediculous to spend money filling prisons with weed smokers who are not criminals. I commend Barney Frank for his willingness to follow through on his beliefs regarding this silly unwinable war on drugs

Obama delagate accused of calling black neighbors monkeys

An obama delegate who referred to black children as monkeys has decided she will not step down from the campaign.
Ramirez Sliwinski is the name of the Illinois delgate who when encountered black children playing in her tree, remarked, "The children shouldn't have been climbing in the trees like monkeys." The childrens parents called police and Sliwinski received a $75.00 ticket which she will fight.
Look I am certainly not advocating the use of the word monkeys to describe any race but I do not think that Ramirez meant her remark in a racial way in this instance. It could have just as easily been white kids climbing in her tree. The obama campaign supports her decison to stay on saying that they do not believe the comment to be racially driven.

General Patreus testifies in front of congress.

Hillary clinton and Joe Biden were very critical of the war in Iraq today during her questioning of general Patreus. She asked exactly at what point could and under what condtions we should leave Iraq.
According to Patraues the surge has worked and we need to stay the course in order to succeed. Barack Obama is also set to question the general later on in the evening.

Hillary and Barack Both made good speeches today

Martin luther king day was well..today and both deomocratic candidates had heartfelt speeches that gave this great man his due credit. Hillary clinton spoke of how she had actually met Dr. King and how it has effected her life and Barack spoke about how we need to continue King's dream.

John Mccain refuses secret service protection

John Mccain has continually refused secret service protection throughout his campaign.
He is worried that gaurds may make potential voters feel distanced from him.
While I am not a republican I must admit that this is a pretty badass thing for Mccain to do and feel that it will help him in the general election. I also commend him for his speech earlier (martin luther king jr day) where he apoligized for voting against making this historic date a holiday.

Should clinton drop out of the presidential race if she loses pennsylvania?

If hillary Clinton loses Pennsylvania I wonder if she will still stay in the contest. Many are saying that she is already damaging the party which I do not believe to be true. I do however feel that if she loses Penssylvania she should witdraw from the presidential race. If she loses this state it will be clear that there is more support for Barack Obama. Are there any blogger thoughts on this?

Pennsylvania Primary

I believe that the upcoming primary in Penssylvania will be the decider for who the democratic nominee for president is. They need to decide soon as John Mcain is getting a media proclaimed "free ride" while these candiates are still arguing about trivial things like copying speeches or imbellishing stories. It is unfortunate that these two candidates cannot work together as I believe their victory would be assured if they were in fact on the same ticket.
